Climate bible study

When dealing with something as big and difficult as the global climate crisis we are faced with a choice: We can either close our eyes and hope that everything will be fixed by itself. Or we can get up from the couch and try to do something about it.

Some may mean that as Christians we can sit back and let Almighty God fix it all, and if the world falls apart, that’s just part of God’s plan anyway. Or is it?

KFUK / KFUM is an organization that has a strong commitment to climate, especially where it is a matter of climate justice. At this seminar we will look at what is the Christian basis for action in the climate crisis. We will figure this out by looking at and talking about some key Bible texts, with a new perspective, namely the eco-theological perspective.
